I was born in British Guyana, one of the poorest countries in South America and the Southern Hemisphere, to very poor parents. Despite our circumstances, I was fortunate to have great parents. My father was brilliant and earned his Ph.D. in Linguistics at the age of 30. I inherited his intelligence and excelled in everything I pursued. In 1976, we immigrated to Canada. I began my career in banking but soon felt the urge to do more. I enrolled in a computer degree program at Humber College in Toronto. Upon completing the program, I transitioned into computer sales, where I had the opportunity to meet the great Tony Robbins.
In 1992, our company received free tickets to Tony’s “Unleash The Power Within” conference. This event marked the beginning of my transformation, as I realized the greatness within me. Just two months later, I started a limousine service business by purchasing my first limousine. By 1996, I had received the Entrepreneur of the Year award and became the largest female limousine operator in Toronto, Canada. But my ambitions continued to grow.
Every year, I attended the Limousine Convention in Las Vegas, where I saw other operators purchasing dozens of limousines at a time. One operator had 250 limousines, and I aspired to achieve the same. I began dreaming and working towards the goal of becoming a United States citizen.
In January 2000, I packed my bags, sold my house, and moved to Miami, Florida, to start my international limousine business. However, to become an American citizen, I needed to find someone to love and marry me. It took three marriages before I found the right partner. In 2006, I married the love of my life, and in 2012, I achieved my dream of becoming an American citizen. I share this powerful journey in my book *Out of the Snares: A Story of Hope and Encouragement*.
Then, God revealed my true purpose: to become a life coach with the “Transform Your Mind” message. As the Bible teaches, “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.”
